About Marcie Maxfield is an award-winning writer and essayist whose work blends humor, authenticity, and sharp cultural observation. She is the author of JewGirl: A Memoir on Being and Belonging, and the novel Em’s Awful Good Fortune. Her play about growing up girl received an Encore!
